Ifeoma Jennifer Areh, widely known as ‘Oma Areh, is an award-winning brand communications and marketing expert turned producer and director. Founder of WildFlower PR and WildPepper Studios, she has created diverse content for TV, film, and digital platforms. She has been recognized by WIMCA as one of Nigeria’s top 50 women in marketing and communications.
Starting out in film marketing, she managed marketing and communications for award-winning Nollywood projects such as Potato Potahto, The Legend of Inikpi, 4th Republic amongst others. ‘Oma’s notable film and TV projects include the hit campus TV series “University of Cruise” the ONE Campaign documentary Nigeria’s health: ONE Story, talk show “Mercy’s Menu” amongst others. She is currently developing the Heritage Hearts Project to unite Africa through film, music, and tourism.
An AI advocate, ‘Oma educates creatives on leveraging AI for business, she mentors creative startups, and served on the Mark Hackathon jury in 2023. A strong advocate for girls’ empowerment, ‘Oma chairs the Girls With Period Foundation, which has provided over 30,000 sanitary packs to girls across Africa.
She recently founded the Digital Creativepreneur Academy, which trains women in creative entrepreneurship.
