Okhai Akhigbe, known by his artistic moniker “Leankid”, hails from Edo State, Nigeria. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Building Technology from Covenant University and a master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems from Jacksonville State University in Alabama. A self-taught freelance illustrator, Leankid’s work is a celebration of fashion and Black womanhood . His vibrant and captivating illustrations have caught the attention of renowned brands and organizations, both locally and internationally. His client roster includes prominent brands like GTB, Hennessy, and Armani. He has also collaborated with leading fashion entities in Nigeria, such as Lagos Fashion Week, Fashions Finest Africa, Atafo, and Toju Foyeh.
