David Hooker is a DMV native who studied Theatre Arts at Bowie State University. After years in arts and education, teaching children’s Theatre, he moved to LA to pursue his passion for entertainment.
While getting a Master’s in Entertainment Business he was developing a network in the Gaming Industry via the Game Developer’s Conference and Black in gaming. Through those relationships he was able to get a job as QA for Disney.
There he worked on mobile titles while leveling up his network game leading to his current role as an Associate Product Manager for Disney websites such as Disney.com, Starwars.com, and the Star Wars App. As a PM he works with Stakeholders, Engineers, Designers, and QA to maintain these sites and apps.
