Fredy E Mena Andrade, also known as xfry is an Afro-Colombian Software Developer focusing on Immersive Storytelling and Videogame creation.
He has been awarded by the Colombian Government for the social impact that his project has made in Chocó (Colombia). Also has been a speaker at tech conferences like (Jsconf Colombia), he made his first VR exposition (The Afroverse) in Negrofest 2020 and is a regular Afrofuturism speaker for Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and regional TV shows (Dale Play). He is the co-founder of Hackdó, the first Afro-Colombian community focused on tech topics, with more than 32 workshops and talks, 3 tech conferences, 2 bootcamps that teach others how to create web platforms, video games, and hardware with more than 70 graduated people. He is focused on pushing a new wave of Black Speculative Creators in Videogames, Cinema, Writing, and more with Black Speculative Arts Movement (BSAM Colombia.)
