Hi, my name is Lameka Alston, and I am the owner and creative director for Capitol Chic Designs. I have always loved paper crafting. In 2014, my paper crafting hobby led me to card making. This included coloring stamped images with Copic markers. The more I submersed myself into card making, the more I recognized that the stamps did not represent who I was as a black crafter. I saw a need in the market for images that represented not only myself but all people. I started with a few sets of stamps and the sales reinforced my decision. I expanded my business to meet the demands of my customers. My product line now includes planner stickers, die cuts, enamel pins, planner inserts and more! I specialize in custom dolls so that anyone can have an image designed in their likeness and feel included in the crafting and planning community!
