Overview: XGS Game Camp Atlanta 2022
Thank you for your interest in participating in an exciting two-month journey building a video game proof of concept. This immersive learning experience is a hands-on game creator program open to those passionate about video games with a variety of skill levels, including aspiring developers, engineers, artists, musicians, project managers and many other disciplines.
You can apply to the camp as a team or as an individual. We will confirm teams as we approach the kick-off date (June 29, 2022).
All participating teams will be assigned a mentor that will provide guidance throughout the camp. Video conferencing software will be provided free to all participants. Teams will choose the device or platform they want to develop for (iOS, Android, Xbox, and PC).
XGS Game Camp is not a full-time commitment. You choose how much time you can spend during the two months.

Closing Ceremonies: August 31, 2022
Game Camp is Virtual
All development work, workshops, and presentations during XGS Game Camp Atlanta 2022 will be offered online (virtual). We will host two large events during the camp. These events will also be held online.
Who Can Sign Up?
Game Camp is free & open to anyone, 18 or older residing in the state of Georgia, with a passion for creating. Teams can be any size, including one person! Teams will need a mix of skills and talents to successfully complete the project. There are plenty of different skillsets needed to produce a game. Below are just a few. Which one of these is your superpower?!

Once you have filled out this application, you will receive a mail confirming that we have received it.
We close applications on May 24, 2022 at 5pm CST. We will notify you in email on June 8, 2022 if you have been accepted into the program. If accepted, you will receive a detailed game camp information kit so that when the kick-off happens (June 29, 2022) you are in great shape to start your game project.
